There’s a handful of information about Jersey Shores I will present to you beforehand: (A) It was recorded with that dude from Lords (Chris Owens) during the same sessions that Akimbo recorded Navigating the Bronze in “dirty dirty dirty” Louisville, KY. (B) The story behind Jersey Shores is about a series of shark attacks during 1916 in...New Jersey! Of all places! And the three children that pass for grown men in Akimbo took the task of making this horrific history your entertainment. (C) This six-pack release is through Neurot, instead of Alternative Tentacles. (D) This album has a distinctly different feel. Fear change.

awesome fucking cd Akimbo is sweet. A. I love Akimbo if you play it on the right stereo, it's the best sounding album of the year, no matter what you think of the vocals I love Akimbo. But this release sucks. I can't stand the vocals. Score is for the album stream I heard. It had some good moments, but overall an EXTREME dissappointment. "Yep. Jaws. And something else." Fucking amazing record. I love the bass movements that frame this record. and this record in general. Brutal beauty at its darkest and finest. sirens likes it, so I like it. you rule dude "Mondo instrumental interludes." ahh, the jersey shore i've been playing the shit out of this album for the last week. really good. Yep. Jaws. And something else. Is this based on the same shark attacks that inspired Jaws? For all the Jesse comments, he had previously stated that Brian and he had discussed and he felt it might be good for another person to review an Akimbo album. Only 4 stars?! Where is Jesse? Protect yourselves! an akimbo record not reviewed by jesse? what? |
